Get You the Moon

Get You the Moon an action breakout style game submission for the Habibi Game Jam which was themed: create a game based on your favorite song. I choose the song Get You The Moon by Kina.

The game follows the standard old school trope of "saving the princess," but in the end as with love, sometimes winning == losing. ;)

The objective of the game is to break off pieces of the moon so that they fall into the sea and raise the boat to the castle entrance so you can save the princess. Raise the water high enough and move the boat to the princess to win, but don't raise it too high or you both drown!

As you break off pieces of the moon she will send you blue and red hearts which slow you down and make your boat longer, thus making the game a bit easier.

Controls:
LEFT/RIGHT ARROW KEYS - Move the player
SPACE - Jump

ESC - Exit the game
R - Restart the level because you got stuck somewhere.

The game window can be resized by clicking and dragging the corner.
